Presentation: Polar Alignment Techniques
Good alignment is key to quality viewing and imaging. Chris will provide instructions on getting quality alignments for solar and night sky viewing and imaging. This is intended to help the novice and the advanced astronomer. We will address when Polaris is not visible and light-polluted skies. We will cover using tools such as the Pole Master, Sharp Cap, NINA Three Start Polar Alignment, and daytime alignments for solar viewing and preparing for a night of imaging before it gets dark.
